My mom teaches a bible study in Virginia Beach - Bible Study Fellowship. She's been the teaching leader for as long as I can remember. Well, BSF just launched a new curriculum for little ones - under two years old - this year! I'm not a part of the class, but because my mom is she can enroll Graham. So, Graham went to his first day of BSF last week - I felt like he was going to preschool. Just the craziest, most surreal experience! I dressed him up, and my mom came to pick him up. He was so excited to see Gigi! My mom usually has to stay after BSF for various reasons, so my dad picked him up from his class and took him home for lunch. I was on the phone with them periodically throughout the morning - such a sweet time! And such a sweet time with his Gigi and Papa!

The Quick Snuggler
Graham is so busy these days, that he doesn't have much time to sit still and snuggle. Unless it involves a book or two (truthfully more like 15 books!)
But, in this very brief bit of time, he did snuggle with me - so special. I'll assume I was as interesting as his video monitor. Yep.
A bit of an update on Graham - he has LOTS of words: quite a few animals and their respective sounds (bird, doggie, monkey, bumblebee, cat, cow, sheep, etc....) he knows his eyes, nose, ears, parts of his face. He has even started to call his friends by their name! (His little friend, Allie, was over yesterday and he kept hugging her and saying "A WE") so much fun!
The Aquarium. Again!
Let me say - we REALLY use our membership to the aquarium! I think we go at least once every week or two. It's the perfect place for Graham to run and explore. And, with the new renovation, it's a cool experience for Mom and Dad, too. Funny enough, Graham's favorite parts of the aquarium have nothing to do with fish. He likes the large windows, the button that causes a "volcano" to explode, the floors that have funny overhead lights shining on them. And every once in a while he'll pay attention to the fish and call them "birds". And, I guess if you're too short to see the surface of the water, one might think those fish are birds!
Happy Valentine's Day!
One of the most precious things that Graham does these days is "come running". It is the most amazing thing to experience him running toward us with the biggest smile on his face. That's exactly what he does every time we go to see my parents - Papa and Gigi. Mom and Dad had us over for a special Valentine's Day dinner with Graham last Friday night. Graham had filet mignon - what little kid eats filet mignon?! Really very special. (The adults had filet mignon, too. :))
One of Graham's favorite things - cards that play music. He has a TON of them, and sometimes likes to have them all open (and playing music) at the same time.
For Valentine's Day, Graham got one of these towers of "boxes" of Noah's Ark from my parents. I think the story of Noah is lost on him in this stage of life. He's more interested in knocking the tower down! Graham also received a daily devotional book designed just for kids his age which we LOVE. We read a devotion every morning with breakfast - exactly what I've been wanting.
Little Boys
How cute are these little boys?! Most of the kids we know that are Graham's age are little ladies. Until Jasper and Will.....I have high hopes for special friendships with these three little fellas. Graham is a little older and busier than the two younger little ones, but they're awfully sweet to see together.
Graham's First Sandwich
This lunch was just too cute for words. I snapped so many pictures. Way too many. Graham ate his first sandwich (officially in sandwich form) last week. (He typically eats a "deconstructed sandwich" - how's that for bringing Top Chef into the world of children?!) So grown up!
