Molly's Newest Friend

Molly doesn't miss much in our backyard. She has caught numerous squirrels, a few baby opposums, and three turtles. This was the third turtle she brought us. Luckily he still had some life in him. I have no idea why Kyle brought the turtle in the house. But he did.

The Best of Summer 2010

We had friends over for July 5th - this was our agenda for the day. So fun, but SO HOT! By the end of the day, our pool was a comfortable 94 degrees.

Kona went paddle-boarding with Kyle for the first time - what a little water bug she is! They had a BALL that afternoon. Kyle said she couldn't have been happier. It was like she was a puppy all over again. (She's nine years old this summer.) They paddled together for a few hours, went swimming, played fetch. Doesn't get any better for this sweet brown dog! (You won't see Molly going paddle-boarding anytime soon....)

Random

Some completely random pics of things Graham loves to do -

He loves to play ghost with his fitted sheets

He loves tents
He loves to be naked and he loves to mow the "lawn" - not necessarily together, though
he loves to play "nigh nigh" with anyone who will play with him

Happy Fourth of July!

Graham has a real thing for flags. So, when we put our flag out for the fourth of July, we definitely had to make a tour of the house with it.
We had a great 4th with friends down the street from us. Graham stayed in this little boat almost the entire party.

Visiting Ms. Pepe

Ms. Pepe is the lady who lived next door to us until about a year ago. She recently turned 94 years old and now lives in a retirement community about 15 minutes away. We went to visit her recently, and Graham was sweet to share his stickers. At least he didn't try to pinch or bite her - which has been the recent "greeting" for many people he sees!

This was probably one of my most favorite days ever. Saturday morning about two months ago - we had a great breakfast at home, went to gym class as a family, visited Mrs. Pepe, went to Stoney's - a local farm - for fresh fruits and veggies. While I was shopping, Graham said hello to the chickens, roosters, and sheep. Then we went to lunch at No Frill Grill, headed to Target to buy a soccer ball, and went home. Kyle and Graham played some soccer in the front yard, and then when Graham started his nap, Kyle and I swam with our dogs in the pool. Definitely a most perfect Saturday.

Graham LOVED his milkshake at lunch - he was shivering halfway through but wouldn't stop drinking it!
He LOVES the big red balls outside Target!

Dinner with Bebe and Buddy - a perfect ending to the perfect day! (They were throwing a ball in a tree and watching it tumble down.)

Gym Class

To say Graham LOVES his gym class is quite the understatement. I think he knows when it's close to Saturday morning...he starts talking about "Miss Ashley" and "Miss Page" nonstop! He runs into gym class every time and acts like he owns the gym.

Craft Day!

So Graham's official first craft day occurred quite some time ago - about two months. I was off work for a few days, so Graham and I headed out to Michael's to pick up some goodies ...

Fun with colorful pipe cleaners...

The master at work - finger painting outside!
