Nuts

Our house is nuts.  Every day.  The brown girls are usually up to mischief - some new mischief every day.  The boys LOVE bugs - particularly the kind that crawl on the wall (That giant spider is not real.  But I don't always remember that.)

And every boy needs a PVC pipe to slide his matchbox cars through!

Brooks - Gym Class

I've been so late in getting Brooks started at gym class - but we have started, and he is addicted!!  He runs around the gym squealing almost the entire class each week.  He has such a ball!

Shaving Cream War

The boys had so much fun decorating each other with shaving cream!  And then taking an outdoor shower to rinse it all off.  And - I learned that bluestone absorbs shaving cream spots.  We will not forever remember this fun adventure.

Crabcakes

Dad put out the crab pot last weekend and had quite a few crabs.  So he invited us over for homemade crabcakes - they were DELICIOUS!!!  The boys CHOWED on them.  They each had one and a half crab cakes.  Didn't even slow down once they had them on their plate.  (I must say, they are the best crab cakes.)

Chuck E Cheese

None of us has ever been to Chuck E Cheese.  Graham's summer camp had a field trip there, so I had to go!  Parent chaperones were supposed to meet at Chuck E Cheese, but I had to drive by school to get a picture of the kids getting on and off the bus.  Graham was so excited to see me - and he hung out with me the entire time we were at Chuck E Cheese.  He was mesmerized - such a fun outing!!

Baseball Game

The boys LOVE to dress up with their ties.  Graham and Brooks both insisted on wearing their ties to the baseball game.  And Graham didn't bring his baseball glove but rather winter gloves.  We are still working on the difference between the two.  LOVED the evening out.  Graham was most interested in eating hot dogs and cotton candy, and Brooks was most interested in watching the game!  I think he will be our little baseball lover!

Making Ice Cream

The boys helped me make homemade peach ice cream - Kyle's request - this summer.  SUCH fun!

Fun Snacks

Trying to make fun "special treats" that aren't just cake or cupcakes is tricky.  Thank you Pinterest for a great idea - fruit salad in an ice cream cone with yogurt drizzled on top.  YUM!  A complete hit with the boys.
