Philip - the fish - had algae growing in his tank. So, off we march to the pet store (again) for something to help Philip. (Let me remind you - we received Philip as a parting favor at a 2 year old birthday party. He came in a small bowl with a little bag of food. He now lives in a 5 gallon filtered tank on my kitchen counter with various types of coral.)
We introduced Alvin-the-algae-eater to Philip the other day. We haven't seen Alvin since, but we assume he's still alive since there isn't any algae in the fish tank.
All this for a goldfish....that Graham is MARGINALLY interested in.
