Molly and The Thunder Blanket

Oh sweet Molly.  She has gotten even more neurotic in her older age.  (Who knows how old she is?!!)  Well, not only is she crazy scared of thunder and airplanes, it seems simple rain freaks her out now.  To the point where she has chewed the entire trim around the door leading out to our garage, trying to get into the house.  She also knows how to open the door to run inside when she gets really scared.  One night a few weeks ago, it started thunder storming at 3am.  Fun.  She opened the baby gate at the bottom of the stairs, ran upstairs, opened the baby gate at the top of the stairs and ran into our room.  And never went to sleep.  Just spent the rest of the night freaked out.  Kyle called Barrett to ask what to do before we decided to medicate her.  (Which we have decided we will not do.)  So, Barrett suggested something called a thunder blanket.  Um, yeah.  A THUNDER BLANKET?!  I  laughed out loud.  But, I did buy one on amazon.  And it worked as well as a cynical person might imagine it did.  Here was the text Kyle sent to Barrett the next day:

Thunder Blanket: Now my dad is freaked out AND HOT!
