We went on the most amazing boat trip all around the barrier islands of the eastern shore - we saw bird sanctuaries, a place where the Chesapeake Bay meets the Atlantic ocean, wildlife, three cottages - IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WATER! - and lots of beautiful, pristine waterways.
