So we have been spending a LOT of time at CHKD lately. We know more about Claire medically that all of our other kids combined. Cardio, Neuro, Cranio-Facial Team, Renal, Blood work.....giving this girl the full work-up so we know how we can help her.
Today she was put under general anesthesia - got a tube in her good ear, a good ear cleaning, a sedated examination of her bad ear, a sedated hearing test. So so so so very hard to watch her walk away from us carried by the nurses. But also so grateful for good outcomes, a great medical team, and easy recovery. Whew. What a day.
