To take a phrase from the kids' critter book....
....and I was so mad.
I was stuck in an elevator for about 45 minutes. Luckily I know a few firms in the building and was able to find a lady at McPhillips who ultimately alerted building management to help me. But it definitely made a call about 30 minutes into the adventure telling a few people that if building management didn't at least come look at me and say they were helping that I was calling the fire department.
If you ever go to the Town Point Building (not to be confused with the Town Point Club in the World Trade Center), DO NOT TAKE THE ELEVATOR. Wear your tennies and take the stairs.
