Train Night

Some of our neighbors (good friends of my parents) have quite the train hobby. Last year started the tradition of going to their house for the Christmas "train show" and dessert. This year Graham was much more interested in the trains - was almost mesmerized for the entire time! We saw the "teaser" train downstairs and then went upstairs to see the HUGE train layout. There are so many control stations, about 15 trains that run around the tracks and they all take up an entire room. A pretty magical room, in my opinion - you get to this room by going through a bedroom, through the closet. Feels like we were walking into Narnia! Then we went downstairs for dessert and coffee. A very special tradition that we will enjoy every year!

(And Graham picked out his own outfit. He chose the boots - we must get him boots that are actually meant for the season - these are his summer rubber boots that are really rain boots. And his "hat". Which is really some part of an old dog toy. Looks more like a halo. Quite the fashion sense.)
